New Foundation of Hope is a non profit youth organization located in Chicago, Illinois. New Foundation of Hope mission is to reduce crime and help bring positive change to today's youth by making them responsible citizens in life and encouraging them to never look back in the past but you can always make a successful future. New Foundation of Hope is open to youth ages 8-14years old and is designed to keep youth off the street. Formed in October 2002 to bridge the end of the school day with the end of the work day. We opened in a 2,000 square foot building in Chicago's Ashburn-Gresham neighborhood near 87th & Honoroe. Providing such services after school programs, mentoring, job shadowing, seasonal sports, computer training and a summer program. The needs of the community increased from a few students to hundreds of students causing the expand into our current building at 81st & Kedzie.
Since 2005 we have provided services to over one hundred students and increased our programs from the standards twenty hours a week to fourty hours a week. In 2008 we partnered with two local shelters, Tab South and Thelma's Place . Our partnerships continues long beyond the walls of our center and into various communites and counties throughout Illinois.
